Konstantinos Anagnostopoulos

Emertirus CNRS Director of Research at the Physics Department of the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris.

Chris Kouvaris
is a
Professor
working on astroparticle physics and cosmology with emphasis on the puzzle of dark matter. He got his PhD from MIT in 2005. He was a Marie Curie Fellow at the Niels Bohr Institute (and partially at CERN), and held a postdoc position at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles before getting a faculty position at CP3-Origins Centre of Particle Physics and Cosmology at the University of Southern Denmark. Nikolaos Mavromatos
is a
Professor
working on Astroparticle Physics, String and Quantum-gravity phenomenology, cosmology (dark sector of the Universe) and modified gravity, including modeling and cosmic tests of potential Lorentz and/or CPT Violation in modified geometries of the early Universe and its relation to Dark Matter and matter-antimatter asymmetry in the Universe. He is also involved in quantum field theoretic studies of magnetic monopoles, black holes, logarithmic conformal field theories, as well as interdisciplinary topics between particle physics and condensed matter (gauge field theories of planar high temperature superconductors). Currently he is also the physics coordinator of the MoEDAL-LHC experiment (CERN), a post he holds since 2011. He has obtained his BSc in Physics from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (School of Physics and Mathematics) in 1983, and his Ph D (D Phil) from Oxford University (UK) in 1987. He has been postdoctoral fellow in Oxford (Theoretical Physics Department), CERN - Theory Division fellow, Marie Curie Fellow in LAPP-Annecy (France), PPARC Advanced Fellow in Oxford (Theoretical Physics Department), before joining the faculty at King' s College London, Physics Department in 2001, where he has been a professor of Theoretical Physics since 2006. He has joined the Faculty of the Physics Department in NTUA in 2021. He is a fellow of the Institute of Physics (UK).
